A detail of the extent of some of the damage when we received them for conservation. Large areas of the original paint were reduced to powder by the time we had received them, exposing the original support canvas.

One of the custom, expandable, stretcher frames that we built to support the conserved murals. The newly conserved paintings were adhered to new canvas then stretched onto these stretcher frames.
